About Restoring You Ministries
Restoring You Ministries is a faith-centered, community-based organization in Highlands County, Florida that provides support and tools for women leaving the prison system. We walk with women as they transition from release to reintegration, and provide a safety net and resources to help them find stability. Restoring You Ministries works with leaders in Central Florida and beyond to help organizations achieve their charitable goals while supporting some of our community’s most vulnerable and underrepresented.
We are a 501(c)(3) Public Charity that serves Highlands County. Many individuals and corporations who donate to Restoring You Ministries receive tax deductions from their contributions. Our organization is grateful for the support and collaboration of our community partners, who help make what we do possible.
Our Vision
Our vision is that every woman who has experienced life-altering circumstances will have the opportunity to grow into the woman God has called her to be. Our role in the process is to support and provide encouragement as she begins the painstaking work of re-establishing a life outside of prison. We will work to help remove the systemic barriers and help her successfully reintegrate. By providing a path to self-sufficiency, clients will learn the value of family, finances, and integrity. With your support, we can help them see the power of God’s transformation in their lives.
Who We Are
Restoring You Ministries is a volunteer-driven nonprofit guided by a passionate board of community leaders who share a steadfast belief: with the right support and resources, women transitioning from incarceration can overcome their past and embrace a fulfilling future.
The vision for this ministry began with my deep passion for helping people. While working with underprivileged children several years ago, I met their families and listened to their stories. Many were fighting battles with crime, abuse, and addiction—and families with mothers who had been incarcerated faced even greater challenges. As I learned about the struggles these women endure and the lack of support available to help them reintegrate, my purpose came into sharp focus.
My heart breaks for the cycle of repeat offenses and the generational pain that so many face. Over the past three years, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding this issue, praying for guidance, and seeking wisdom from Christian leaders, prison staff, advocates for incarcerated women, business mentors, and nonprofit leaders. This journey has laid the foundation for Restoring You Ministries and a framework for helping women step into the fulfilling lives they deserve.
